RCISD is a woman-led SME that combines scientific knowledge and managerial expertise to drive innovation and foster collaboration across sectors. Specializing in R&D project management and support actions, RCISD connects research institutions, universities, companies, and NGOs to promote strategic partnerships.
With over 20 EU-funded project participations, including Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe, RCISD is among Hungary's top-performing organizations in EU research programs. Its team brings expertise in intercultural communication and Roma culture, contributing to initiatives like the Horizon2020 Inclusion4Schools project, which addresses inequality in segregated school communities.
Established in 1996, the Roma-Lom Foundation is a Bulgarian non-profit organization dedicated to empowering disadvantaged groups and fostering social inclusion. Operating primarily in North-West Bulgaria, where Roma communities face significant challenges, RLF focuses on education, economic development, and cultural preservation.
RLF empowers young people from marginalized communities through training, capacity building, and youth-led advocacy initiatives. It also serves as a resource center, promoting tolerance, intercultural dialogue, and innovative social services. The foundation champions Roma culture, supporting artists and preserving traditions to strengthen identity and self-esteem. With a team of 20 staff members and a network of over 60 volunteers, RLF is a driving force for positive change.
ARSIS – Association for the Social Support of Youth
Founded in 1992, ARSIS is a leading Greek NGO dedicated to protecting children and youth at risk and fostering the reintegration of vulnerable groups, including the homeless, ex-prisoners, and refugees.
Operating across Greece, ARSIS runs youth support centers, shelters for unaccompanied minors, legal aid services, and educational initiatives, such as mobile schools and skills development programs. Supported by over 750 professionals, ARSIS also advocates for human rights and social inclusion, promoting tolerance and cooperation through national and international networks.
National Association of Orphans of Albania (ANOA)
Founded in 1991, ANOA is a leading Albanian NGO dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned children, single-parent families, and disadvantaged youth. With a national presence, ANOA advocates for legislative reform, equal access to education, and social inclusion. Its key activities include providing essential supplies, career guidance, IT training, and internship schemes to facilitate integration into the labor market.
ANOA’s advocacy has driven amendments to the “Law on Orphans” and expanded housing, schooling, and rights for its beneficiaries. Additionally, ANOA implements projects addressing educational inequality and supports Roma and Egyptian inclusion. Its experience includes the Horizon 2020 project Inclusion4Schools promoting inclusive education in Albania, Hungary, Slovakia, and Bulgaria.
Located in Cluj, Romania’s first cultural centre housed in a former synagogue, Tranzit House merges heritage preservation with contemporary artistic and social initiatives. It fosters intersectionality, multilingualism, and collaboration among diverse communities, addressing discrimination and marginalization through arts and critical pedagogy.
Key projects include the Intercultural Summer Camp, promoting inter-ethnic dialogue and creative expression among children, and Tranzit Visual Lab, combating segregation through visual literacy and self-representation. Tranzit also partnered on ROMEDIN, advancing inclusive education and desegregation.
Established in 1995, C.E.G.A. Foundation focuses on social inclusion, youth empowerment, and advocacy for disadvantaged communities, especially Roma. With 30 years of expertise, C.E.G.A. combines community-based approaches with policy development and capacity building to empower grassroots organizations, promote intercultural dialogue, and improve access to quality education.
Key initiatives include Global Education Goes Local, fostering youth capacity in addressing global challenges, and Care for Truth, combating anti-Roma disinformation. C.E.G.A. also champions inclusive education and innovative social services through research, training, and advocacy.
Uccu Roma Informal Educational Foundation
Founded in 2010 and led by Roma women, Uccu is dedicated to combating stereotypes and prejudices against the Roma community in Hungary. By engaging students, teachers, and the public through workshops and urban walking tours, Uccu promotes critical thinking, dialogue, and open-mindedness using informal educational methods.
The organization empowers young Roma through self-development opportunities, fostering identity, belonging, and career prospects. Uccu has collaborated with over 50 volunteers and 20 experts, delivering impactful programs in more than 100 schools. Key projects include the ENGAGE Project and Roma Youth Empowerment – Stronger Roots, addressing discrimination and promoting Roma activism. Uccu is recognized with prestigious awards like the European Cultural Heritage Award (2020).
