Our objective with this work package is to empower young Roma activists, so they can motivate their communities and be a pivot of positive changes inside them. In this case, there are two ways which we chose to do so: elaborating digital learning resources, and holding face-to-face and online trainings, which concentrate the biggest part of it.

The trainings will take place in four different partner countries, and in the selection process, some attributes such as commitment to Roma empowerment, motivation and understanding of equality will be evaluated. When the trainings start, a national section will be held in each country to expose the project’s goals. This will be followed by four training modules, each one focusing on a different topic: Developing Roma Change players (in Hungary), Community Development (in Bulgaria), Roma Identity and Self- esteem (in Greece), and Mobilizing Roma Advocacy and Networking (in Albania).

Online trainings and mentoring sessions will also be offered so the participants can learn continuously. This capacity building program will not only encourage young Roma people to be active members of their communities but will also equip them with the necessary tools.
